USB Safely Remove (XP/Vista) is a powerful USB device manager with a interesting autorun capability. It has many useful features that saves users time and extends a user’s ability by providing more control over their USB device.

Some features include:

  • Displays what process is preventing a device from being stopped
  • Removing devices via key binding
  • Autorun programs when the USB device is connected or disconnect from your system
  • Support command line
  • Return accidentally stopped devices back without physically reconnecting

USB Safely Remove is not free. I got my free license key back in august when the developers gave away around 30,000 license keys. Now the free license giveaway is back!! Keep reading the post to see how you can get your own license key.

I got a email this morning announcing that the development team is giving away another 10,000 license keys. At the time of the posting there is still 8,398 keys left so head over there quickly to get your free license key.

There is a special license condition that comes with the free giveaway:

License conditions:
* The license is valid only for v. 4.1 so if you wish to upgrade to future
version you have to purchase a lifetime license.
* You can use the program personally on each of your computers
* You can use this version for lifetime

So go and try it out. I dare to say its a very nice application and it will improve your experiences with flash drives on Windows much better.
