Foobar2000 0.9.6.4 Released

I don’t know how many of you still uses Microsoft’s crappy windows media player (WMP), which is bloated, slow and ugly. Persoanlly I use foobar2000 to me its what a music player should be.

Foobar2000 is a customizable music player it:

  • Supports a wide range of audio formats out of the box (WAV, AIFF, VOC, AU, SND, Ogg Vorbis, MPC, MP2, MP3, MPEG-4 AAC), and even more if you install third party addons.
  • It supports Unicode characters so it will play and show mp3 tags of various languages.
  • Light on system resources, and very fast at indexing a big library.
  • Advanced file infor processing, including IDv3 tags.
  • Has customizable playlist and dynamic list
  • Customizable keyboard shortcuts
  • Customizable interface.
  • Support lyric through third party addon
  • Support MSN/Live Messenger “now player” through third party addon
  • and much much more
